I am the Medicine

I do not practice healing as a trend or performance.
I come from a lineage of women who knew how to tend sorrow, mark transitions, and call the spirit back home.

My work is rooted in ancestral remembrance, spiritual ritual, and embodied truth.

A woman stands in front of a room of seated people giving a presentation about grief hand wash. The room has bookshelves, pink and yellow paper decorations hanging from the ceiling, and a projector screen displaying the presentation.
Four women kneeling on the sand at the beach, with a woman standing behind them, participating in a ritual or ceremony involving tying cloth and flowers to the sand, with palm trees and buildings in the background.
A woman with long curly hair wearing a blue headscarf and jewelry, holding a bouquet of pink roses and greenery, standing in front of a silver background.

ABOUT NIA MORA

Medicine Woman. Guide. Witness.

Nia Mora is a medicine woman, intuitive life coach, and poet who helps women return to self-love, spiritual alignment, and abundant living.

Her work is not theoretical.
It is lived.

After surviving an abusive marriage, Nia turned toward holistic and spiritual healing—not as an aesthetic, but as a necessity. What began as survival became devotion and grief became medicine.

Lineage & Training

Nia comes from a traditional Christian background, deeply familiar with prayer, scripture, and faith-based devotion. Rather than abandoning this foundation, she learned how to integrate it—weaving biblical wisdom, spiritual discipline, and reverence for God with ancestral healing practices and embodied ritual.

She studied under Queen Mother Efua Asha of In Grace Yoga Therapy, where she was trained in trauma-sensitive, spiritually grounded healing practices. Her work blends:

  • Ancestral remembrance

  • EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques)

  • Spiritual baths and head and foot washes

  • Intuitive guidance and grief embodiment

This fusion allows her to meet women where they are—whether they come from church pews, altar spaces, or places of quiet spiritual longing.

Why Do This Work

In a world that rushes mourning, Big Love creates the space to slow it down.
The climate of our culture suppresses sorrow, and Nia offers ceremonies where you can be witnessed and return to yourself with grace and power.
Every systems we’ve been initiated into isolates pain and has disconnected us from our roots and Nia brings the ancestors back into the room.

This work exists because too many women are expected to heal silently, love endlessly, and carry everything alone.

Big Love Healing Services is where that burden softens.

Credentials & Grounding

In addition to her spiritual training, Nia is:

  • A mother, grounding her work in care, protection, and legacy

  • An award-winning author of five books, including poetry, fiction, and non-fiction transformative prayer book

  • A professionally licensed educator, bringing structure, ethics, and discernment into her practice

Her work lives at the intersection of sacred intuition and practical wisdom—where spirit is honored and discernment is upheld.

What to Expect When You Work With Nia

Nia will not rush you. we will not bypass your pain, and she will not tell you who to be.

She will help you listen—to your body, your grief, your spirit, and the wisdom that has been waiting for you to slow down long enough to hear it.

This is Big Love work.
Tender. Honest. Transformative.
